It is expected that Augmented Reality will take a big leap in the next few years, especially in combination with technological innovations such as blockchain, merging reality and the digital world. Metaverse is something that we also hear about a lot recently, is promisedo become a new evolution step of the internet that will transform everyday life. So, what is waiting for us in the near future and what can we expect to see in the next few years?

Smart AR glasses have been promised for a few years already by corporations-giants such as Meta and Apple, and even though there is no exact release date announced for any of them at the moment, the one thing we all can be sure about: the world as we know it will change as soon as the smart glasses will become available to the broad audience.
Worn like usual glasses, they promise to enhance the physical world on the go, adding information, and helping navigate and explore the environment in a multitude of ways. This technology can be applied pretty much in every field, from gaming and advertisement to education and tourism. Using markers, sensors, and geolocation will allow overlaying the world with information and digital assets that will be loaded in run time, especially if combined with the AR Cloud technology.
